I am currently a student at LSU pursuing a BM in Viola Performance. This spring I am taking a semester off to save up money for tuition, then returning to LSU in the fall to complete my last semester. Having grown up in Baton Rouge, I have built up quite a resume for babysitting, petsitting, and tutoring children. My mother is a dance and drama teacher, and I was often employed by her to help with school and church events in organizing and teaching students. In the summers, I like to work as a counselor at Kids' Camps and also attend classical music festivals all over the US. Along with babysitting and petsitting, I have worked at Highland Coffee Shop and The Overpass Merchant while attending LSU, along with teaching violin and viola privately at Parkview Baptist's Fine Arts Academy in Baton Rouge. On Sundays, I play in the Istrouma Read more Baptist Church's orchestra as first violist. I love working with children. That said, I do not enjoy plopping down on my phone while your children watch TV for several hours. I want to help them explore their creativity with fun arts and crafts projects, build pillow forts, go on walks and collect items with which to design nature collages afterwards, or kick around a soccer ball at the local park -- I like to be active.
