My past experiences in the Care Giver field began when my father became ill over 20 years ago. Caring for him until his passing followed by me caring for my Grandmother, Mother, Brother and Nephew until their passing. My training in in-home care was with Golden Rule which afforded me the opportunity to care for my Sister after her release from a Nursing Home and into her daughter's house. I lived with them for a year before my job was done and then I cared for an elderly man from 9 am to 9 pm 7 days a week for nine months. Finally, I cared for a 27 year old male that was mentally and physically challenged. I am a native of Lafayette and currently live in Duson. My last job has ended and I am available for a position in in-home care. Being a mother myself, I love children Read more and animals and am willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
