I have raised 5 nieces & nephews who lived with me from the time they were newborn, into their teens. I have raised 1 daughter of my own who is just finishing up law school at the age of 24. My primary focus is to make sure kids are constantly learning, either through homework, flash cards, cooking, reading , arts & crafts , sewing, etc. it puts that drive in them to always want to learn more which helps them though school and higher education. I have taken CPR courses and first aid. Now that my child is no longer at home I miss the days of working on school projects together and teaching new things. I really did raise the perfect child. She worked hard, respected other, achieved her goals in school by winning top awards, cheering and getting academic scholarships. She was reading at 2 1/2yrs old and Read more was at a 5th grade reading level by first grade. I believe every child has the potential to achieve great goals, if they just stay persistent & work toward them.
