I am 24 years old and living in Shreveport, Louisiana. I am currently working at a law firm as a legal assistant and babysitting part-time. I have decided to take time off from school to figure out what I really want to do. As of right now I am a political science major, but thinking about changing my major to fashion merchandising. Completely different careers, but fashion is my true passion. I am very outgoing and must stay active. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, outdoor activities, sports, and traveling. I volunteer at a local dog rescue, which can be very dirty, but I enjoy every minute of it. I adopted my best friend, an Alaskan Malamute from the shelter, so needless to say I love animals. I have always wanted to live on the coast in Florida, but have never had the opportunity. I am at Read more a point in my life where I am able to move and experience a new city. I am extremely organized, respectful, responsible, and very reliable. When I began college in 2009 I started babysitting part-time, which at most points turned into full-time. I have been a nanny for two families (the mothers are sisters) for over five years now. I started when the girls were born and now they are between 2-6 years old. I also housesit/dogsit for their family members. I do not have any children of my own, but I do understand all parents have different parenting skills. I am good about following each parents rules to how they want their child disciplined/praised. I adore children and truly enjoy babysitting. I am very protective, but do like to take the children to have fun; parks, pet stores, swimming, birthday parties, and etc. *I am available to start ASAP, but since I will be relocating I do want to give my current employers a two week notice and have at least a week to move and settle in. I will most likely be renting an apartment near my new job. So a three week grace period from hire date to start date would be grealy appreciated. I am okay with having a background check, I will give references if requested, and I am open to skyping with family.
