My name is Heather but most kids call me HJ. I am 44 years old and very interested in your job posting. I am a mother of 2 almost adults, 17 and 20. I have never formally been a nanny but certainly have more than enough experience to do exactly what you need. I am starting to feel the empty nesting that settles in when one child works and goes to LSU full-time and the other one graduates High School this year. I am educated but never finished my degree because I chose to stay home with them. I guess I could say that I have 13 years experience in carpool, helping with homework, and running from one extracurricular activity to another. My late husband was a primary care doctor and I ran his office when the kids got older and were physically in school. I am clinic trained in Read more triage, first-aid and can easily recertify in CPR if needed. I have tutored children in many subjects and can handle most curriculums through high school. I also have lifegaurd training, and have taught swimming lessons. I come from a large family so I have been taking care of children for as long as I can rememeber. I have fostered quite a few teens so I relate very well with teenagers as well as the younger ones. I enjoy children and really like to spend time with them. I enjoy the outdoors, educational play and making really, cool science projects. I love going on fun outings that help to teach them something. I am also pretty good at taking care of them when they are not feeling well and just need some down time. I am very dependable. am a non-smoker and am very comfortable with dogs. I am a Dane girl myself, but like the little ones too. I have reliable transportation with seatbelts for 5. Did I mention I am a really, really, good cook? I am looking forward to hearing from you!
