I am a recent graduate from ULL where I earned a BS in Child and Family Studies. I chose to study my major because of my lifelong interest in working with children. I worked as a student assistant at the UL Early Childhood Lab, emphasis on providing age appropriate experiences for children and on learning through play. Additional experience includes working as a counselor to adolescents with emotional and behavioral problems. My first babysitting job was at 13 at the baseball park helping moms watch their kids as they enjoyed the game. I have since worked occasionally with children of all ages. Tasks or activities I have done on the job include: providing snacks and homework assistance, administering medicine to sick child, preparing for bedtime, in indoor and outdoor playing, reading, and coloring.
