As a child, I came to America not knowing how to speak English. Teachers, tutors, and sitters have contributed a lot to my education and personal growth. Without them, I would not be as successful as I am today. I hope to give back and provide for others the care that was given to me when I was younger. During my highschool career, I took the opportunity to volunteer at a language school. There, I worked with children ages K-5. I worked as a teacher's aide, where my job wasn't limited to just grading homework but also working hands on with kids and answering their questions. I also volunteered as a pre-K director at a vacation bible school. There, I directed the day of the children and would accompany them to each activity.
