In addition to babysitting since I was 13 for neighborhood children (ages 18m-9 years old), I spent two summers in high school nannying full-time for an Autistic boy (age 9-11). During this time, I also taught figure skating to children ages 6 to 13. I have experience Caring for infants and toddlers up to age 4, including bedtimes. Additionally, I mentor students at a local community center called Peter Paul Development Center (ages 9-14). As a reading assistant at NYCMCS, I assisted in implementing RTI plans for students from ages 5 to 10. In the summer 2014, I was acting assistant direct of the Infirmary at Camp Laurelwood. In addition to assisting with all infirmary duties relating to first aid and medical care, I was also responsible for peer mentorship with the homesick children. I was responsible for interfacing with them in order to encourage them to take part in Read more camp activities. In total, I helped care for over 300 campers ages 8-16. Finally, I have taken courses in child developmental psychology and childhood developmental disabilities. Over all, I'm just a flexible, trustworthy, and responsible girl who loves going outside, dancing to disney music, and coloring outside the lines.
