I have had multiple different part-time care giving job over the last 10 years. I also have experience working as a nanny for an 11-year-old boy with autism and severe emotional needs. In addition, I have two young nephews (ages 2 years-old and 6 months-old) that I have babysat and taken care of. Finally I have been a Big Sister through Hampshire County Big Brothers Big Sisters for three years. I was paired with a 9-year-old in the Amherst area and have mentored and tutored her. I care deeply about children. I understand that being a child caregiver requires trust, organization and patience. I am also able to provide tutoring and help academically. I recently graduated UMass Amherst and studied Sociology and Legal Studies. I value diversity, social justice and academia. I also worked as a tennis coach for young children in high school and love sports.
