As a Clemson undergrad studying development and pursuing a career as a child life specialist, I have a huge heart for children and wish to always create a space where they feel loved, safe and comfortable. The oldest of four, I have not only played caregiver to my three incredible siblings/bestfriends all my life, but to several family friends and adolescents whom I volunteer with. In my spare time at Clemson University, I volunteer at local high schools to mentor and hangout with students. Pouring into and loving on them has been the greatest experience of my college career. Throughout my steps to become a child life specialist, I have had the unique experience of working with critically ill children, and have also spent time leading children through the process of a bereavement camp.
