I worked part time as an assistant teacher at a childcare and education center for three years. I worked with all ages (newborn to pre-k) and was able to gain my certifications to become infant, toddler and preschool certified. I am also CPR and First Aid certified. After leaving that company I became a lead teacher at a community center caring for children between the ages of 6-13 for an additional two years, while pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and taking numerous classes pertaining to child development including Child and Adolescent Psychology, Child Maltreatment, Brain, Mind, and Behavior, and also Developmental Disabilities. After graduating I pursued being a preschool teacher for a year and decided to change to nannying to work more closely with families. In the six years that I have worked in the child care business I have also been entrusted with babysitting on numerous occasions. I Read more love to be creative and keep children active with new activities with arts and crafts, play dates, adventures, and also recreational games. From learning the Macarena to the Electric Slide to playing baseball and freeze tag, I love to keep busy and have a fun day!
