I'm a college student majoring in nursing. I have two summers of live-in Nanny experience and have done numerous hours of babysitting . My first summer was spent with a Brookline, MA family w/toddler twins and a new born. Second summer spent on Marthas Vineyard and cared for a ten and thirteen year old. I adore children and welcome the chance to influence them with the joy and optimism that I was fortunate to be raised with. I took a GAP year before starting college and traveled to Africa and participated in a medical program called GAP Medic. I was able to round with Doctors and nurses in a Hospital in Iringa, Tanzania. I was able to work in a labor and delivery ward. During my four month stay I was able to deliver 13 babies. I then traveled to Paris , France and spent 5 months studying French at Read more the Sorbonne University and lived with a host family. It was an amazing year of adventure and education that I'd love to share with a young family. I was born and raised in Kennebunk, ME and have a wonderful family. My older brother is in his third year at the Unites States Naval Academy, my younger brother is a junior at Cheverus High school and I have an 11 year sister in Middle school. Love animals.. have two dogs and a rabbit and spent a summer helping on a friends farm. I have experience as a camp counselor as well at an all girls summer camp in NH, that I attended myself for 8 years of my childhood. Travel is one of my hobbies as well as photography. I've traveled to Peru, Galapagos Islands,Mexico,Africa, France,Switzerland, England, Greece,Italy and the Caribbean. I will enter Navy ROTC in the fall at my University and my goal is to become a Naval Nurse and serve on the USS Mercy ship to provide humanitarian aid around the globe. I look forward to a fun summer and having the opportunity to care for your children.
