Hello, my name is Alexandria, but everyone calls me Alex. I have always loved kids and have been working with them for the last 7 years. In addition to babysitting at a young age, I started out working at a daycare/pre school on Cape Cod as I went to college and received certifications and my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. Since then I have moved to the city and have used the knowledge I gained from school and experience throughout my nanny career. In the past 5 years I've worked for 5 families. The first family I worked for I was the nanny for two preteen girls for two years. I was responsible the girls well-beings, light meal prep, help with homework, and after school pick ups (occasionally school drop offs) and driving to after school activities. The next two families were friends (one referred me to the other). Read more I was with the the first family for just about 2.5 years. I took care of a 4yo boy and 2yo girl (since the day she was born). I was with the second family consistently for about 1.5 years. I took care of a 4yo girl and 2yo boy (since the day he was born also). My responsibilities were relatively the same for both families; entertaining the children, diaper changing, bottle feeding, helping potty train, meal prep, driving to activities, etc. I am currently employed for two families in Boston in a Nanny share. I mainly care for an 8 month old girl and 7 month old boy simultaneously, but I also care for a 2.5 year old boy one day a week. My responsibilities include but are not limited to providing a safe and nurturing environment, creating and maintaining a proper feeing schedule, bottle feeding, diaper changing, reading, singing, creating and maintaining a sleep schedule, sleep training, playing with age appropriate toys, going for walks etc.
