I've been caring for infants, toddlers, & school aged children since 1998. I am a graduate of Wheelock College where I received my BA of Science in Human Development with a focus in Education. I've been a nanny for families with 1 child & multiple children for over 10 years and also taught preschool for four years in West Roxbury, MA. I am now a mother to a wonderful and bright almost 4-year-old girl whom I currently care for during the week until she starts K1 this fall. I love working with small children from infancy to elementary aged. I am a warm & happy professional caregiver & a self-proclaimed baby whisperer & can teach any family with a new baby 'all things infant' such as swaddling, bathing, sterilizing bottles, getting them on a sleep schedule & when the time comes, how to start your baby on solids. After all, children thrive from knowing their boundaries & knowing what's expected of them. I've been bringing my daughter to work since she was 1-year-old. Having an older child play with younger children can really stimulate development & learning as they model what they see in the older child. I enjoy cooking for children and I'm sensitive to & have worked with children with special dietary needs. I am a highly organized, self-sufficient, detail oriented person & will keep your home neat & clean, especially where children play & eat. Teaching & working with children is my passion and calling and truly how I thrive as an educator & caregiver.
