Hi families! My name is Claudia and I live in Brookline. I have a degree in Early Childhood Ed and Visual arts, and have been an after school art teacher teaching k-5 and a substitute teacher for this past year. I have 10 years experience in childcare including nannying, babysitting, teaching, daycare work, with kids from newborns-11 years old. I love making art with kids, crafts are my speciality and I'm a big believer in the benefits art has to all other developmental areas. Claudia is an obviously experienced babysitter who is very attentive to our baby daughter's needs. Her early education training really shines through in her play, as she is very interactive, sings and plays music, reads books, etc. Our baby is very happy and comfortable with her! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Claudia to other families.

Claudia is PHENOMENAL with children! She spent the day with our son Georgie and he had a wonderful fun filled day playing, reading and having yummy lunches. We were in Cambridge/Boston for a few days and needed to attend events 3 nights in a row, but were so nervous about leaving our 2-year old with a sitter as she has not been open to being left with anyone at night, even family members. However, Claudia was AMAZING and from the get-go knew exactly how to engage our daughter so that we were able to leave our hotel room without any tears or tantrums for 3 nights in a row!! Claudia is super-friendly, was responsive to all our check-ins and would let us know how things were going, which we really appreciated. Our daughter was even comfortable enough to go to bed every night (which never happens) so that when we got back to the room at the end of the night, we didn't have to calm down a wired, over-stimulated toddler who would refuse to go to bed. We totally wish we could bring Claudia back home with us because she is most definitely a "toddler-whisperer". We will definitely use her again when next we're in Boston!

Claudia was so wonderful with my infant daughter! She was very communicative and worked with me on flexible times. I was able to relax and get things done away from home and to know that my baby was in trustworthy hands. I would absolutely recommend Claudia as a babysitter and hope to hire her again for occasional times!

After we returned home post-bedtime, our 3.5 year old woke us up in the middle of the night to tell us all about how much she loved Claudia! She was comfortable with her instantly, which isn't a given with our kiddo, and wants us to have her back. Claudia was fun, kind, and our daughter loved that she was really creative.
