Meet Grady

I am an NYU graduate who recently moved to Boston, looking to continue providing childcare as I have for many families. I love kids and have worked with them in many capacities, including as a nanny, tutor and an art teacher. I believe that it is my job, as a sitter, not only to ensure the protection and well-being of the children, but to engage them in activities that will help them grow and understand childhood as an exciting, rewarding experience. I believe that the most important thing I can provide to a child as a sitter is a sense of safety in his or her environment (whether that is the home, the park, school, a friend's house, etc.) and the confidence to truly explore his or her special abilities to the fullest capacity. I have worked with many ages, from 2 weeks old to 14 years old; helped children with behavioral disorders; worked with both Read more girls and boys; worked in homes with multiple pets; and watched children overnight for extended periods of time (up to three weeks) when I was the only adult in the house (parents on business trips, vacation, etc).  Working with children has greatly enriched me and I look forward to meeting more wonderful families!
