A 2013 graduate from Stonehill College with a BA Degree in Graphic Design and Business. Have been working a desk job as an Adminstrative Assistant for the past 8 months. As a creative, active person I am finding sitting behind a desk unfulfilling and am in search for a change. The reason I am choosing to take the time to become a caregiver is because kids are a breath of fresh air, and having a special relationship with them brings a sense of joy and freedom back into my life. In the past I have had experience as a babysitter and mentor to young children. Previously I was the go-to babysitter for a family with two kids, one boy and one girl. I watched them through out many years taking them to school, watching them overnight or just a few hours in the evening while the parents were out. I Read more also mentored a young girl who had difficulty in social situations. I was able to a support for her and help her gain more confidence each week. Each caregiving experience has been rewarding and refreshing which I why I love doing it so much. I also was recently certify in Adult and Pediatric CPR and feel confidence in my knowledge and skills.
