It is with great enthusiasm that I submit my application for this position as a nanny. I am a recent Boston University graduate who would like to become a pediatrician in the future. Currently, I’m taking a gap year and I believe experience as a nanny will be a great way to enrich my background skills. I am CPR and AED certified, EMT trained and soon to be EMT certified. I have volunteered at the Boston Children’s Hospital, where I spent hours at a time entertaining and playing with children who were patients at the hospital. I am fluent in Spanish and have intermediate French, German, and American Sign Language skills that I am able to teach. I come from a large family with 5 children (I am the oldest) and many younger cousins that I had been constantly charged with taking care of from my childhood until I left Read more home for college. As a result of this I’ve had extensive babysitting experience, particularly with toddlers and younger children. My favorite part of babysitting is interacting and playing with the kids. I’m a very creative and playful person with endless ideas for fun activities. Whether it be dress up games, arts and crafts or board games, I am always ready to interact with the children I’m taking care of. On my own time, I enjoy music; I have played the flute for 11 years and the piano for 2 years. I paint with watercolor, love arts and crafts, and am a great cook. I am energetic, caring, and believe my abilities and experience will make me to be a great nanny to your family.
