I graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2014 with a major in history and a minor in religion. During my time at Ohio Wesleyan I was involved in Big Brothers Big Sisters and took many education classes but decided not to major in it as I wanted to spend time abroad and the education major is not very flexible. I spent some time in Europe and also in Africa (Uganda specifically at orphanages). Since graduation I have moved back here to the Boston area and I currently work at the Newman School which is located in the Back Bay. Here I work in the college guidance office closely helping students (and parents) as they move through the college application process, I do a lot of substitute history teaching and I also coach the girls lacrosse team. I have nanny experience as well, my senior year at Ohio Wesleyan I worked Read more with College Nannies + Tutors. I worked extensively with one family (two middle school aged girls) but also did "on-call" jobs where I would go work with kids I might have never met to cover a Friday date night or another nanny's regular job. These "on-call" jobs definitely helped prepare me for any sort of situation that might arise. During the summer I will still be working at Newman during the mornings getting college counseling work done but I will have my afternoons free and I genuinely miss being a nanny. I'm young, active, and love to have fun.
