I am a 28-year-old female who has lived in the Boston area for nearly ten years. I received my Bachelors degree from Northeastern University where I majored in Human Services and Criminal Justice. While a freshman in undergrad I completed a year of Jumpstart where I worked in a HeadStart program in Roxbury. Additionally, I worked at several after school programs as well as worked at a residential facility in Jamaica Plain. Post college I enrolled in a year of AmeriCorps NCCC where I held several positions, one of which was running a Boys and Girls Club summer program where I also coached middle school softball. Last year I graduated from Harvard's Graduate School of Education (HGES) with my Masters in Education in Prevention Science & Practice. Currently, I am enrolled full time in a Certificate of Advanced Study program at HGSE to become a School Adjustment Counselor/School Social worker Read more and will graduate at the end of May. I have held a variety of babysitting positions with all ages. I have helped out a mom with twins since 2012 when they were 14 months old, they have recently turned 4. I assist the mom with a variety of household tasks as well, regularly I am responsible for cleaning the kitchen, doing the laundry, cleaning play spaces, etc. I have also watched a 13 year old girl for the past three years. We enjoy doing crafts, trying out new recipes, reading and playing games together. Within the past year I have gotten a lot of experience with infants. I have watched a number of infants starting at 2 months for four separate families, and continue to sporadically watch them when their parents go out on weekend nights. I live in Somerville in Davis Sq so ideally a family would live near Davis or near Harvard so it would easy to get to from school as well. Contact me if interested!
