Hi! My name is Heather O'Rourke.  I am 24 years old and live in Norwood, MA. I graduated from Bridgewater State University with a sociology degree in 2013. My big plans for the future are to be a physical therapist, I am currently taking prerequisite classes.  I have been working with children for over 10 years. I started babysitting mainly for aunts and uncles and I'd watch my siblings (I am the second oldest out of eight). I have had other regularly scheduled nanny jobs.  I watched my twin sisters who were five at the time, full time, for the summer.  That included things like taking them to swimming lessons, the town pool, and keeping them occupied with fun activities! I also watched a 6 month old two days a week.  I was in charge of picking him up from his day care and following through with his nightly routine Read more when we got home.  Then I cared for three children (5,8,10) three days a week.  Earlier in the day I would pick up the 5 year old and play with him until it was time to get the older kids.  I was responsible for light house keeping, meal prep, and laundry occasionally.  For a summer, I cared for a 6 year old.  I picked her up from camp daily.  I got her lunch ready for the next day and made sure she was showered. I have cared for my cousins, ages 2 and 6. Mostly for date nights. Other child experience I have had was in the child care area at a health club.  I worked there for a year and half.  I cared for children ages 6 months to 13 years old.  I also did birthday parties and themed kids nights. I taught kids' sports classes and hosted birthday parties at an athletic club. I spent a year working at a high school as an intensive needs para-educator. I am punctual, outgoing, caring and organized. I love being active outdoors and doing arts and crafts. I'm also an animal lover.
