Hello my name is Anna Myers, I'm 26 years old, and have a vast experience working with and sitting for children of all ages and needs! I grew up in a large, loving family, and have been babysitting for well over 10+ years! It began with my younger siblings, expanded to neighbors and family friends, I worked for a nannying service for several summers in addition to running the swim team, swim lessons, and being a head lifeguard during college summers! I am known as the favorite auntie in my family largely due to by energetic, caring, and creative personality! I received a B.S. in cognitive science with a concentration in speech language pathology and minor minor in disability studies and psychology. I worked on a study for 2 years with Dr. Roberta Golinkoff studying early child language development, and through required clinical course hours in both undergrad and my Read more semesters completed in graduate school for speech language pathology have had a vast amount of experience and education working with children of all ages and disabilities, and am well versed on childhood development. I have recently taken a semester off from my graduate studies to determine my true passion (thinking something more medically based i.e. nursing and/or physicians assistant like my dad!) which leaves me with full availability to help you and your family with any help they may need! I just moved to the dorchester neighborhood on Chickatawbut St. and feel that babysitting will allow me to do something I love, as well as, become immersed within the community and neighborhood.
