My name is Deanna Nicolau and I have been a caregiver for the past 10 plus years. I have also raised 3 children myself ages 24,23, and 15. I am a non-smoker, CPR and first aid certified. I have taken care of infants, toddlers, up to teenagers. I also cared for the elderly for 2 years. I had one elderly woman I took care of full time till she passed away. I then realized I wanted to go back to children because I get to emotionally attached to whomever I am caring for. I also work for an AKC judge and corgi breeder and have for over 3 years so I am very comfortable with pets. I listen to what the parents want and try to replicate that with the children. I realize I am the substitute parent when the real parents are away. So therefore I really try to Read more treat the children the same way the parents would. I like to communicate with the parents in order to keep them up to date about the day to day activities. I am a very patient, reliable, laid back person. I am not a yeller and instead would rather talk things through when instances come around. I love children and really enjoy caring for them.
