My name is Brittany, and I have over 8 years of experience caring for kids! In addition to in-home care, have worked or volunteered with a few summer camps, preschools and nurseries in both city and very rural settings. I most recently spent a year caring for infant twins, before recently moving out to beautiful Easthampton! I believe play and exploration are essential to a child's development, and hope to find a family who feels the same! I love the outdoors and I have a background in environmental education, so we will spend a lot of time learning about our natural world! I believe our community itself is also a great learning tool! As weather permits, trips to museums, parks (mt tom!), and age-appropriate social groups (such as hobby and music groups) will be an essential part of a daily routine. I have a lot of experience caring for kids in very "green" ways! This includes knowledge of early childhood nutrition, including preparation of organic, healthy and age-appropriate foods.
