I have been in childcare for six years. This includes working as a companion for a child with developmental and behavioral difficulties. I have never cared for a child that I didn't love; I love being able to care for and play with kids and pets, cook and do fun things like arts and crafts and go on hikes. Especially when I can call it work! I have cared for kids between the ages of two and thirteen, all with different kinds of family situations (and of course vastly different personalities). Whether you have an introverted child that enjoys reading, a very active child with never-ending energy, or three kids and just as many pets, I'll do more than provide safe care for your kids and bring them to activities. I will provide your children with a nurturing, creative nanny that loves to be active, tunes in to each child's Read more needs, and loves to cook healthy meals and take care of pets. My experience includes taking care of children for more than twenty-four hours. I am comfortable with full day sole charge care, bed time, overnights, and everything in between, as well as helping out when a parent is around. I have experience with twins, siblings of different ages, three (or more) kids at a time, and pets. I am also not only willing to cook for you and your family, I love to cook -- and am knowledgeable and experienced in cooking for food allergies, food sensitivities, and diet restrictions. I also love pets (just ask my dog) and love to take care of them! As a companion it was my job to create every day's schedule, incorporating set appointments, coming up with activities, arranging playdates, and factoring in any hygiene/other factors that were unique to the child under my care. I have also worked with twin toddlers and am not a stranger to diaper changes, potty training, nap time, and the occasional sibling rivalry. For additional references, please contact me!
