Hi there, I recently relocated back to MA from NY and I'm seeking to transition out of a full time fitness training (personal trainer) career and into a full time nanny position. Presently I'm commuting to New Canaan CT, Mamaroneck NY and North Salem to work with clients. A month ago one of my clients Nanny's returned to law school and she asked if I would temporarily fill in two days a week between sessions. Having been a stay at home parent while raising my two daughters I agreed to it. I found that I thoroughly enjoy her three children, ages 2,5,7. I'll continue until I find something local. During the years of child rearing I was very committed. I used alternative therapies such as homeopathy etc, and kept an organic household. We did a great deal of art projects, baking, reading and as creative person I was inspired to Read more write and sell four children's book manuscripts to Orchard Books a subsidiary of Scholastic. I'm a writer and an artist and one of my motivations for a career change is to be able to have more consistency in time and income so that I might focus on the arts again. My passions; art, the environment, rollerblading. My children attended Montessori schools in their early years so I have some familiarity with their philosophy. My degrees (BA) is in psychology and communications. I have many client references and hope to find the right fit for long term employment.
