Although I have not done childcare for some time, I was at one time the "Nanny Supreme." I worked with everything from infants to teenagers, as well as substitute teaching in a very cutting-edge daycare center in Brookline. I still maintain close and loving contact with some of "my" kids to this day. I have written references, but have lost contact with all of the parents I had worked for over the years. I have many other references, both personal and from the ill and elderly patients (or their families) that I have cared for over the last 8 years. It is my desire, however, to transition back into Child Care at this time as it is my first love. I have always loved children although I was never blessed with any of my own. I strongly believe in interfacing with the parent(s) to make sure that any children I Read more am caring for have the most consistent care possible. I am strict, yet loving and fun - really, I am still a child at heart! Although homework, chores, and nutritious snacks come first, I love getting children to enjoy being outdoors, exploring nature together and stimulating their curiosity, helping them to appreciate the joy that reading can bring, playing games and puzzles and dress-up, finding creative ways to spend time and just goofing off!
