Hello! I am an energetic caregiver with a wide variety of experiences working with children. During my time with AmeriCorps, I served as a literacy tutor and after school classroom leader. I worked with students K-8 as an educational and enrichment support and programmer. In addition, I served as a physical education and nutrition specialist traveling throughout the lower level classrooms. More recently, I have worked full-time as an aquatics professional, teaching swim lessons and coaching swim team at a YMCA with children ages 6 months to 18 years old. I just finished up an internship working as an inclusion teacher, spending time one-on-one in the classroom with students with moderate learning disabilities. I have worked as a camp counselor in wilderness and community building education for three years as well.
