Hello! I am a childcare professional and performer / multimedia artist! I have been working with children for approximately twenty years. In that time (and jumbled in amongst other various jobs, degrees and random certifications) I have worked as a babysitter, nanny, camp counselor, teen program coordinator , program facilitator, assistant teacher and a number of one-off gigs at kids parties, in addition to helping friends out with advice in managing their little (and medium-sized) ones! I am currently working as a lead teacher in the CBAT (Community Based Acute Therapy ) unit of a residential facility for children, and I miss the nannying life! I have experience with ages 0-18, but am particularly fond of ages 5-14... minds primed for molding ! I am a huge proponant of reading, the arts, imagination, teaching critical thinking and self reliance to kids, as well as very into nutrition and global awareness. Read more I have a bachelor's degree in Anthropology, my license in Insurance (don't ask) and a half completed degree in wellness coaching and nutrition via IINS. I am a professional singer and collaborated recently on an album which dropped at the end of 2014. I am a semi-professional dancer, independent artist, and actress. I am proficient in housework and healthy meal prep, including (but not limited to) allergen-free and vegetarian/vegan cooking . I have a clean driving record as well as CORI check. I love to help kids find their own voice, and am adept in behaviour management. I also love animals, so if you have pets, please don't worry...I will look after them too by default! I am strictly live-out, and I do not accept anything under $25 per hour due to my experience level.
