Hello Parents,   I am a mature and experienced childcare professional, mother of twins, grandmother of 4, including a set of 10 year old twin girls.  My experience includes running my in-home daycare business for 13 years, and loving every minute of it.  I am currently employed as a private nanny for a 5 year old girl in Leominster, and have been for the past 4 years. She recently started full day kindergarten, therefore I am needed less hours and currently have more availability for another family. Prior to that, I worked as a Preschool Teacher Assistant, at a local child care center, while attaining my CDA online. I worked with infants and toddlers, and was there for one year. During that time, I also did private respite care for a four year old autistic boy, assisting the family with his care, therapy, play therapy, and allowing the parents to have Read more a few hours a week to tend to errands, social events, counseling, etc... I have also worked at the Boys and Girls Club in Leominster, working with school-aged children. While there I assisted children with homework, school projects, emotional issues, and taught a Healthy Habits and Creative Writing Course.  I am an extremely articulate woman, both in speech and writing, and also very knowledgable in all aspects of child rearing.  During my time as a daycare owner, I was involved in many trainings and certificate programs, to increase my knowledge, on an on-going basis.  I have been responsible for as many as 6 children at a time in my home, ranging in age from newborn to 9 years.   I take my responsibilities as a child care provider very seriously, and treat all children as if they were my own grandchildren, with the same caution, protectiveness, and love.  I am interested in finding a position where I could become an integral part of a family, on a long term basis.  My references can attest to all that I have said here, as I never had a dissatisfied parent in all my years  of working with children, which is over twenty years.
