My name is Kelly. I m 25, currently living in Leominster, and hold my bachelor's degree in Psychology. I have previous nanny experience spanning over 5 years, working for families both in summer positions and part time. I currently hold a part-time position as a mental health counselor with children (ages 5-12) with a variety of psychiatric diagnoses. However there are some parts of working as a nanny that I do miss performing such as managing the household, setting up appointments and activities for the child/children, and getting to see how much the children grow in the time I get to spend with them. My background in psychology has benefited my ability to perform as a nanny. It has given me the insight to understand child development and how to apply activities and communication appropriate for child s age and developmental age. A little about me: I enjoy being active. I m an avid hiker, camper, and gardener in the warmer months and go to the gym during the cooler months. I practice yoga and meditation in my spare time as well as play with my two very large, but extremely friendly dogs. Although I love a good movie or show on Netflix I try to avoid screen time as much as I can. I try to apply the same mentality when I work as a nanny.
