I am an out-going, seasoned, fun mom. Poop and spit-up do not scare me! After having my kids (now 8th & 11th grade) I was able to stay at home for several years and I loved every minute of it. Our days were spent at the library, playgrounds, book stores, playgroups – anywhere that I could meet other parents and my kids could interact with other children. Marlborough used to have a Family Network where I became very involved – facilitator of the infant group, special event coordinator/facilitator, created and led pilot literacy program. COVID times are of course different, but there's always a way to incorporate learning and adventures, right? Besides my real-life experience of being a parent I can offer the following: Babysitting from the time I was 11 years old; working after school and summers throughout high school at two different day care centers; live-in nanny for Read more a year for a family in Winchester; ECC Preschool Lead Teacher Certified; Massachusetts Elementary Education License; formerly CPR and first-aid certified (working to recertify). I am a non-smoker, pet-friendly (I have two dogs, myself), and COVID vaccinated (as are my husband and children). I drive a 2015 Honda Odyssey (lots of room for car seats) and have a clean driving record. I was recently laid off and am taking it as an opportunity to do what I love - taking care of children. I am ideally looking to be an extension of a family – not a replacement for parents, but a partner.
