My name is Tiffany and I am 18 years old. My passion for caring for children started when I was in third grade and became an assistant for the after-school care program at my school and continued this for five years until I graduated. I was accepted into a vocational high school for an Early Childhood Education & Teaching program. Through this opportunity I taught ages 2-4 Freshman and Sophomore year, ages 4-5 Junior year, and ages 5-6 Senior year in a Kindergarten class at a local elementary school. I became CPR and First Aid Certified (expires October 2015), and also Preschool Teacher certified through EEC. This was made possible by the related courses i took throughout my four years of high school learning about the physical, social, and emotional developmental stages of young children. Last summer I was a nanny for a family of two children ages 2 and Read more 5 until they went back to school. I then worked with infants and toddlers at a preschool until I was promoted to my current position as a three year old Preschool Teacher. I am looking to become a full-time nanny because I prefer family settings versus a classroom type setting.
