I have always had a passion for teaching and working with kids. When I was young I always enjoyed working with children. I would babysit whenever I could and would seek out volunteer opportunities to work with kids in my community. I was a nanny for several families in my neighborhood and I volunteered for my local library's summer reading programs. When I started college I took my passion of working with kids and combined it with my passion for teaching. I graduated from Concordia University in Minnesota with my Bachelor's degree in education and received my teaching license (I am also CPR certified). I've worked as a substitute teacher, a specialized instructional assistant, and I've had the life changing opportunity of running my own middle school classroom. Now I am looking to find more opportunities to work with kids in my community to help them grow and learn.
