Dear Families,  I am a mother of three school-aged children (9 yrs. old twins and a 6 yrs. old) who enjoy to work with young children. As for experience, beside from raising and caring for my children, ever since I was in high school up until recent years I always found many opportunities to work with children with all range of age, infant to school aged children. In the past, besides babysitting, I also worked at a day care and a private elementary school in Boston for a couple of years as Teacher's Assistant/Floater. In the recent years, as my children began attending school, I continue to actively volunteering at a children care program in Boston for three years now (2010-2013) as well as at various PTO programs throughout school years.  In 2012, I provides an after school care for a nine years old child at my home for a Read more few hours a week. My recent recent nanny position is serving a family of four in Boston which responsibility including but not limited to give care for an infant (9-mon), feeding, diaper changing, playing, reading, meal preparation, and also helping with getting ready for school in the morning, drop-off/pick-up a 4-yr. old to and from school every day and to sport activity and museums occasionally. I  am comfortable to work with families who own pets and  I am willing to do light housework during my working hours. I am very organized and I  believe that when children should be allowed to make necessary mess to encourage their creativity but a clean environment is also very important especially for very young children, therefore I would always make sure to keep the living space surrounding the children be cleaned and organized after use.  I love outdoor activities, reading and singing , and enjoy doing dramatic play as well as doing simple art/drawing and crafts with children. I think it is crucial to keep balance between having the child-like perspective while playing with children to encourage fun and positive connection, as well to encourage good habits and behavior while learning about boundaries and rules to help children becoming responsible individuals as they grow.
