I am 23 years old and graduated from the University of Connecticut. I was an English major and a Communication minor and I am now attending Boston College to receive my masters in elementary education. Throughout high school and college I have always been very active with sports and extra curricular activities. Coming from a large family, I often babysat for my younger cousins. I was also a regular babysitter for families in my neighborhood that included children ranging from newborn to 8 years old while in high school at King Philip Regional High School. During my undergrad, I ran a program in nearby elementary schools that gave support to children who were dealing with crisis situations. This past summer I lived in Florida and was a full-time nanny for a family with three children. The children's ages ranged from 11 months old to 5 years old. I really Read more enjoyed being with the children and we enjoyed playing outside and trips to the pool. I am very comfortable with young children and enjoy being active with them. From playing board games to playing outside, I am always up for anything that the kids are interested in doing!

Emily is an amazing babysitter. She started babysitting when my daughter was 6 months (now 8 months) and she is great with her. She is very caring and observant. She noticed my daughter was uncomfortable and teething one day so she got her a teether out of the fridge. Another day she noticed when she woke up from her nap that she seemed cold, so she put a sweater on her. Sometimes when I come home Emily is holding and comforting her when she notices that my daughter seems cranky. For a long time my daughter was difficult to get to sleep, but Emily was always able to get her down for naps and bed. Emily is a really patient and caring sitter. You can tell that she really enjoys children.
