Ella is a very soft spoken, kind and loving individual when it comes to her interaction with young children. However, in the short 2 months we were employing her she was the least reliable of all the sitters we’ve had. She continuously showed up after the time we expected her to arrive and at one point was completely absent only to notify us 2 hours after she was expected that she had overslept resulting in me using personal time to step away from work. This was followed by her calling out an additional two times and notifying us only 30 minutes before we were expecting her to arrive. Considering we only needed her for 2 days a week this was unacceptable. When I suggested changing her start time or ANY suggestion I was met with resistance and defensiveness. The time around my children involved little to no one on one interaction while she was spending hours on her phone and having them watch hours of tv.
