My employment involving child care in one fashion or another started in High School in approximately 2005. I worked at a daycare facility with children ages ranging from infant to school aged. As a teaching assistant I provided structure, a safe learning environment, and gained a profound amount of experience. After High School I attended college where I obtained an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. I returned home with a degree and a nanny opportunity for a family member. Little did I know I would be such a huge staple in my family's life and the years to follow were the most valuable yet. I had the privilege of working with my Uncle & Aunt Jay & Amy Weaver and their two children with one more on the way. My weekly activities while employed by the Weavers consisted of pick-up & drop-offs to school, after school activities, doctors appointments, and Read more play-dates. I networked with the parents of their classmates, brought the kids on fun day trips, and made sure to keep the parents completely involved in day to day activities. Apart from creating an unbreakable bond with the kiddos, I did the family's laundry, dishes, light housework, and meal preparations. Helped all three kids with walking, potty training, etc. Since working with kids I've worked many different positions from landscaping laborer to car detailing. I've been CPR and First Aid certified since my last job with kids and attended and completed an accredited EMT-Basic Course.
