Meet Rachel

  • Comfortable with pets

I have had extensive experience caring for children of all ages. My mother ran a daycare for several years when I was in middle school, and I helped her with all aspects of childcare. I took care of babies and children from the ages of 6 months to 12 years of age, and also taught/tutored those in the after school program. Some of the children had disabilities like ADD and ADHD. My own siblings are 5 and 4 years younger than me so I was babysitting them growing up. Additionally, to my mother's daycare, and own siblings, I have been a babysitter for several different families to. The Silver's with a girl age 6; Nigros with 3 children ages 8, 10, 12 and the Quirks with 3 children ages 4,5, 8. (sometimes what would happen is the children's friends mother's would ask me to watch their children as well, because Read more the children talked about me so much)

Trustline is California's official background check for license-exempt child care providers (i.e. babysitters and nannies) and the only authorized screening program in California with access to fingerprint records at the California Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and access to the California Child Abuse Central Index. The Trustline registry toll-free telephone number is 1-800-822-8490.

Pursuant to Section 1596.859 of the Health and Safety Code, parents have the right to receive information regarding any substantiated or inconclusive complaint about licensed child care providers. That information is public and can be acquired by visiting the California Department of Social Services' Internet Web site at "www.cdss.ca.gov".
