I have been babysitting since I was 15, and I have babysat for numerous families. I have babysat for a family of four children for about 3 and a half years now. I started babysitting when they only had two children and they were ages 4 and 6. I babysat for them five days a week for 8 hours each day. The family then had a set of twin girls and I started babysitting them when they were 8 months old 4 days a week for 8 hours day. I still babysit for them today and the twins are now 2, but the parents do not work in the winter, so this time of year I do not babysit except on occasion. Not only do I get along with children well, but I know how to clean up after children and keep them engaged and entertained in fun ways. I also understand the value and importance of making sure children are learning and practicing important skills, so I always incorporate learning throughout the day. I am also an Elementary Education major in college, so I have knowledge of teaching methods, and strategies that are helpful to children. Overall, I am a very fun-loving person and I put a lot of effort into caring for children because I love being around kids, and I know that if someone was taking care of my future kids I would want to be able to trust them to really do a great job.
