A Little About Me: Most of my experience comes from being a Lead Preschool teacher but I've always done some nannying on the side for date nights and school vacations. I currently reside in Boston, MA. I’ve worked in a child care setting since I was 14 years old, working for a NYC Summer Youth program. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and I'm the eldest of five siblings. I lived in Boston, from 2006, where I attended Lesley University and began my Early Childhood BA ,as well as my full-time teaching career. I'm lead preschool, toddler & infant teacher certified as well as First Aid and CPR certified. I have an extremely huge and great passion for my job as a teacher! I strive to continually improve and be knowledgeable of new strategies and teaching techniques. I'm currently attending an online college to finish my BA, in Read more Early Childhood Education now. I believe my strengths as a preschool teacher/nanny are that I'm always smiling, and that I'm a little silly : ) . I'm very creative and crafty. I enjoy trying to sing nursery rhymes, reading books, utilizing flash cards, continually holding a conversation with children to enhance their vocabulary and social skills, incorporating gross and fine motor skills into activities such as musical chairs and name writing. I'm still in awe of how much children can learn and their developmental stage achievements such as walking ,feeding themselves and so on. Simply - I just love teaching.
