I have been providing childcare for almost ten years now-I have extensive experience in both personal and professional settings and took several education courses throughout college. I have nannied regularly for individual families with ages ranging from infant to teens in Vermont, Oregon, and Boston. I provided full-time, in-home care for multiple families with ages ranging from 6 months to 10 years. I also have professional experience with a nonprofit reading and writing center for kids where I tutored and managed programs for students 6-18. I have worked in settings in daycare programs at local churches, as an administrator at an overnight camp in Colorado, and in an after-school care program in Oregon. I have been involved in several mentoring and tutoring programs and served as an assistant in an outdoor garden classroom. I am currently in an MSW program through Smith College. Before beginning my masters program, I spent five months on a trip through the Southwest, trying to learn more about this country, and specifically the Borderlands.
