Hi, My name is Kamela. I was born to work with children. At age 14 I was Babysitting every weekend and full time in the summers. I still feel very grateful that I can get paid doing what I love most! Back in the 80's and 90's I worked a ton of nanny gigs while I was going to school in NYC. I have been a professional live in nanny for long stretches.of time since I was 18. I love playing and interacting with kids. I like to have the child lead me based on their interests. My favorite activities are hiking, bicycling, outdoor and indoor games, scavenger hunts, dancing, putting on plays, arts and crafts, food prep, hide and seek, special holiday projects, reading etc. I like to do pretty much everything. I love to cook and am great at getting the kids off to school. I have a Read more background in educational theatre, early childhood development, and nutrition. I also have worked in sales and marketing for many years, as an alternative career. Ideally I would like to work with school age kids after school until 7 or 8. I'm also available for Weekends.
