First of all I would like to start out by addressing the simple fact that I love kids! Growing up as the youngest of three children I always yearned for the opportunity to be a role model for something other than my pet hamster Bernice. Although I never had the opportunity to babysit younger siblings, I was able to get my feet wet by watching cousins much younger than myself. The first time I ever babysat was when I was eleven years old, and I was to sit for my cousin whom was three at the time. I was intimidated by the tasks at hand, but the experience helped me significantly in the long run. After babysitting my cousin I was continued on by babysitting neighborhood children and other younger cousins.
