I have been working currently in a daycare center setting, where I have gotten my Infant, Toddler and Pre-School Teachers Certification, and am and have been Infant and Toddler CPR Certified through the Red Cross. Over the last few years, I have held family related caregiving positions, and have cared for multiple children who moved on to school which had lead me to try a center setting. Having done both, I feel better suited to be a nanny which allows more freedom and teaching opportunities. The ability to expose children to both the regular, like food shopping and the bank, as well as going to the children's museum, or just to the playground, I find invaluable in helping the child understand and begin to navigate the world. Children learn about the world through play and exploration, and I enjoy seeing the world through their eyes. I have a reliable, safe, Read more insured and registered vehicle, with a safe and clean drivers record. I have passed all cori and sori checks, and may be fingerprinted by the federal government as a childcare teacher while I am still at my current job, as is going to be standard in the coming years. I have multiple references both character and professional. Perhaps most important, I will enjoy caring for and documenting for you your childs day. Highs and lows, accomplishments and things they could use help with. I like to write in a daily notebook about what we did that day and and how your child reacted to it, and if you would like, can send you video and photographs through your email throughout the day, so you may have a part of your child's day while you have to be at work, both parents if preferred.
