As the oldest of five, I have grown up learning how to take care of kids. I started babysitting at the age of 13 and haven't stopped since. I have provided care for kids of all ages, from newborns to teens. I earned Bachelors and Masters degrees in Social Work and have focused on supporting kids in schools as well as families in the community. As a babysitter, I enjoy fun interactions with kids such as playing games or being outdoors. I can guide creative projects, provide transportation, and take them to community outings if parents prefer. I can also help with educational experiences such as reading or homework help. I am totally flexible with whatever parents advise on what is best for their kids. My babysitting style is engaged, responsive, calm, & joyful. I spent the last 2 years traveling around Portugal (where my family is from), Central America Read more (to learn Spanish), and Israel (where I also babysat). I recently came home to MA to be closer to my family. I am excited to continue living in Watertown, providing child care & spending free time with my siblings :) Numerous references can be provided upon request. I have a current background check and child welfare clearance that were required for past jobs. I also have a CPR and first aid certification, which I recently renewed in June 2019.
Trust & safety
We encourage parents to conduct their own screenings using the background check tools. See what each of the badges covered, or learn more about keeping your family safe by visiting the Trust & Safety Center.

Danielle is FANTASTIC! We can't thank her enough for watching our two kids, 2 1/2 and 6 months old. She's a pro, they loved her, and are already looking forward to having their new friend come back again soon. Danielle has an ease with kids that's really amazing, she's reliable, warm, engaging, and playful. This was our first experience with sitter city, and she was so patient with us in answering all of our questions. Thank you Danielle! :)
