I am a mother of two now-grown children and a registered nurse. My childcare experience also includes clinical experience in the hospital nursery and pediatric unit; volunteering as a children's story reader, choir leader, Sunday School preschool teacher and Brownie Troop leader. As your child(ren)'s nanny, I would apply the same principles I used in raising my own children; that they are only young once and therefore deserve a warm and loving environment in which to be nurtured. I believe that playing is still learning and, together with reading age-appropriate stories aloud and a healthy dose of fresh air by way of a stroller ride or gentle push on a swing, make the basics for a happy day!
