I volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club for two summers. I did this because I heard that if you volunteer you are more likely to get a paying job. Soon I got a job working at the front desk of the Boys and Girls Club. This was a good job, but I didn't like that I couldn't interact with the kids. I had to sit at the desk all day. I enjoyed volunteering more than I did my actual job and this is when I knew I loved children. I thought I'd share this so you know that I am not just looking for a babysitting job because I am a college student who needs money. I signed up on this website because I genuinely love children. When I volunteered, I worked with different age groups every day so I have experience with all ages. I also did an Read more internship at Kinder Care when I was a senior in high school. I am available Tuesday's and Thursday's until about 530. Tuesday and Thursday's are the days that I have off from my other job. Although, at my job the hours are scarce due to too many employees. I have worked one day a week for the past 3 weeks, so most likely I will be available other days or last minute.
