Hi there, my name is Alex and I'm 26 years old. I have a degree in Biomedical Engineering and currently work as a research associate in the biotech field but am looking to make a career transition over the next few years. I have always enjoyed children, having some experience as a sitter during my early teen years and as an assistant basketball coach for the past 3 years with teams ranging in ages from 9 to 16. I am contemplating a career change from science to psychology/counseling or teaching or a combination of the two so this is the perfect time for me to seek a change in my day to day employment. I have above average knowledge of health and medicine and have an active CPR/AED certification from the American Red Cross. I'm a competitive powerlifter and know a lot about fitness and nutrition and am pretty athletic. Read more I am fascinated with children and enjoy discovering the world through their eyes. My ideal position would be as a part time or full time nanny for kids who keep me active and inquisitive about the world!
