I began babysitting when I was 13 years old. I took care of multiple families children, but mostly my next door neighbor and family friends two little girls. Ages 5 and 3, I would babysit the girls three days a week after school, and some weekends if needed. I was expected to cook, clean and care for the children, along with stimulate their interests such as music, art, and sports. I offered transportation to and from events if needed, and helped with family events. I still occassionally babysit the girls, however they are older now. Along with babysitting, I have worked in a day care for the past four summers with children ages 2.9-4. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have a lot of experience with young children.
